Easton Sports, Inc. is proud to announce that the Sorcerer Gold – Phil of Vallejo, Calif. won the 2009 ASA 18-U Gold National Championship on Sunday 8/9 at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Okla.  Swinging nothing but the #1 bats in the game, the Easton Stealth’s and Synergy’s, the Sorcerer Gold defeated the Gold Coast Hurricanes (Plantation, Fla.) 3-1, for their first ASA Gold National title.

Utilizing Easton equipment all the way, the Sorcerers went undefeated (7-0) in the tournament.  The ASA Gold National Championship is considered the premier event in all of youth fastpitch softball.  The Sorcerers took on, and defeated, the 63 best teams in the country to earn the crown of champion.

Also congratulations to the Easton-Sponsored Southern California A’s who finished 4th, the Georgia Elite who finished tied 13th, the Corona Angels  who tied for 25th, and the Texas Hawks who tied for 33rd.
