There are a number of ways to find and purchase the products you are looking for but the two most common ways are by navigating the links at the top of every page or by entering product keywords in the “search” bar and hitting enter.
Using top and left hand navigation:
1. Choose a store – Easton sells both Baseball and Softball equipment but to make your shopping experience more personalized and convenient, click the baseball or softball tab at the top of every page to find the equipment you need by the sport you play. Whether you are seeking baseball or softball equipment or both, you can navigate back and forth between both stores and purchase baseball and softball equipment at the same time. Your shopping cart will stay with you, no matter which store you go to. To go directly to one store you can type in eastonbaseball.com or eastonsoftball.com.
2. Select a product category from “The Equipment” menu – Click on any of the Baseball and Softball equipment categories such as Bats, Ball Gloves, Batting Gloves, Helmets, Catcher’s Gear, Bags, Apparel, Accessories, or Youth Only to go directly to gallery pages of products we currently offer for sale
3. Narrow your search or go directly to a product detail page – On the left side of all product gallery and detail pages are navigation options to narrow your search. Rollover the navigation to expand it and then click a link to filter by such attributes as price, fielding position, color, size, league and more. (Example: In Baseball, go to bats, then Adult Baseball and then composite bats. You’re results will just show available composite baseball bats allowed for use in Adult Baseball leagues)
4. One-Click Add to Shopping Cart – If you already know what you are looking for, save time by adding a product to your shopping cart directly from any product gallery page. Simply rollover the product you wish to purchase, make your selections from the applicable drop down menus and click “add to cart”. Your cart with then appear at the top of the page where you can click checkout if you are done shopping to immediately make your purchase.
5. Go to product detail pages to learn more – Click on any of the product listings thumbnails in the center of the product gallery pages or on a product name in the left side navigation. This links will take to complete product detail page where you will find a variety of information about each product including product images, features, technologies, videos and more. You can add products to your cart from any of one these detail pages and/or continue shopping by again clicking on the left side navigation to visit related or alternate products.
6. Compare Products – A simple to way to evaluate product features of multiple products is to utilize our “add to compare” tool. Rollover any product on a product gallery page or look below the “Add to Cart” link on every product detail page and click “add to compare”. Once you have more done this for 2 or more products click the “Items to Compare link” at the top of ever page. You’ll also see a “#” indicating how many products you have added to compare. A pop-up window will open showcasing the products you’ve selected and their key features, side by side.
]]>What is BESR?
All bats used for NCAA and High School play must be tested and certified BESR (Ball Exit Speed Ratio). All EASTON Collegiate and High School models meet BESR certification.
What does 1.20 BPF mean?
BPF (Bat Performance Factor) is simply the increase in the liveliness of a ball hitting a bat compared to throwing a ball against a solid wall (i.e., 20% faster rebound = a BPF of 1.20). The major softball organizations have adopted the BPF standard to determine whether a bat is legal for play. Softball has several major governing bodies. Each association creates their own bat safety standard to determine whether a bat is legal for use in tournament play. All EASTON softball bats have the relevant association marking on bats. Please check with your local association to determine which standard your softball bat must be in order to be legal for play.
What is ABI (Accelerated Break In)?
Another effort by some governing bodies in Softball, and now Collegiate Baseball to regulate performance of composite bats that regulates the natural break in process.
A procedure performed during the model approval testing that aims to mimic the performance of bats when they have been heavily used. This procedure is used to ensure that the bat model stays within the association’s performance standard for the life of the bat.
What is a flex handle rating? And how do I know what to choose?
Choosing the right flex will be more of a personal preference. However, in general, players with higher swing speeds will benefit more from stiffer handles.
What about youth associations?
All EASTON youth bats are certified by all youth associations including Little League®, Babe Ruth Baseball, Dixie Youth Baseball, Pony Baseball and AABC.
Do I need to break in my composite bat?
No. EASTON composite bats do not need to be broke in. We do not recommend physically altering the bat in any manner for use in any game under the jurisdiction or sponsorship of an association or organization that has set standards for the performance of bats. This will nullify your warranty and will not increase the performance.
Does cold weather affect my bat?
Aluminum bats, especially those higher performance models with thinner walls should not be used in temperatures below 50 degrees. The problem is not so much the bat as it is the ball. Cold temperatures make the composition of the ball denser, especially the new ‘Compacted Core’ Balls being offered. This puts unusual stress on the bat walls which will result in denting. Bats may also be sensitive to very hot temperatures and should not be stored in areas that are exposed to high heat, such as car trunks. Bat failure due to misuse in extreme temperatures is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Is the aluminum (SC900, 7050, 7046) designation important to a bat’s performance?
The aluminum alloy has an indirect influence on the performance of the bat. Two designs that have the same wall thickness but different alloy will perform similarly but the one with the better alloy (i.e stronger) will provide increased durability. However, the increased strength of a better alloy will allow for bat designs that have a thinner wall that provide increased performance and feel without taking a penalty in bat durability.
Can I use my EASTON bat in a cage?
You should not use your new bat in the batting cage. Batting Cage Balls are made of a more dense material than is used in a regulation Baseball or Softball and will cause denting. Bat failure due to use in a batting cage is very obvious and is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Bat sleeves, such as ‘Tuff-Sleeve’ may be of some protection but will not guarantee complete protection.
How do I clean my bat?
Yes – use only mild soap and water – they won’t harm the surface coating or graphics. Do not use solvents, acetone or other heavy-duty cleaners, as they will damage the surface.
Which Easton bats are USSSA certified?
Stealth Tri-Zone, Stealth Tri-Zone BH, Synergy Tri-Zone, Synergy Tri-Zone BH
What is a better bat? 2 piece or 1 piece?
2 piece bats will provide a degree of isolation from the vibration generated after impact and allow for maximum head whip. Easton’s 2 piece bat has been tuned to optimize the flex point and maximize performance and comfort. 1 piece bats will generally allow for more feedback after impact. Many players appreciate this feature because it helps them in adjusting their swing to locate the performance sweet spot in the bat.
HOW TO CHOOSE A BASEBALL BAT
In most cases, bats are measured in inches and weighed in ounces. Typically, a bigger, stronger player will prefer a longer heavier bat, while a smaller player will prefer a shorter lighter bat. Since a player’s power is generated through bat speed, it is important that you can swing your bat through the strike zone at maximum speed. Keep in mind that the right bat for you is based on personal preference. Make sure the bat you pick feels good when you swing it. The negative number found on all aluminum and composite bat represents the length to weight ratio of the bat or swing weight. An example would be on a 30” bat that has a “-9” would have a swing weight of 21 oz.
Your height and weight are good way to determine what bat length may work best for you. Use the guideline as a starting point.

]]>What is VRS?
VRS stands for “Vibration Reduction System”. It is a gel foam used in Easton batting gloves to absorb the vibration when making impact with the ball.
What is the TurboSlot?
The TurboSlot is a patented technology that helps increase bat speed and power. It is a pad sewn into the glove between the thumb and the index finger. This pad becomes a lever that acts as a fulcrum, creating resistance at the barrel end of the bat. LEVERAGE = RESISTANCE = POWER.
