218My 14 yr old son finaly got the chcnae to try a couple of the Easton bats. He tried the x3 and the s3. Mainly because those are the ones that will be in our price range. He prefered the s3 stating that he had better control with it than the x3. He thought the x3 was to end loaded. Keep in mind that he is more of a contact hitter himself than a big power hitter so this would be just about what i would expect. When he has had a chcnae with some other bats i will chime in with his reviews.

One if not the best bat I have ever swung. No need for a roll. Lighning out of the wrapper. Has smaller barrel, takes a little getting used to. As far as cracking have not had a problem with composite cracking. Have had an issue with paint chipping, same with another guy on our Easton team. But I have put a ton of swings on this stick and have had nothing but great response. I would say over a thousand swings and no compostie problems yet. This bat and Easton helped us win a World Title. Peace Out!

bat cracked after a session and two games, 12 total games... bat is awesome before the crack.

i have had the scn20bw for a summer session and now a fall session, out of the wrapper it was great, great pop, great feel, but after the second game of my fall session i noticed a small crack on the g in synergy. kind of upsetting because its a 2012 bat and it should not even be near being able to crack as early as 12 games...
